I had the chance to have a studio day at the Atelier Choi in Paris last week. A delightful and enlightening experience alongside Choi and Ronald Martinez, the photographer who was working with him that day. I was introduced to Choi by my dad (Emanuel Gat) who worked with him for his photographic installation "It’s people, how abstract can it get ?".
A uniquely inspiring and charismatic artist, Choi is considered the most
talented printmaker of his generation, and has been working with
numerous major photographers such as Helmut Newton, Nan Goldin, Sophie
Calle and many others.
